Never allow good enough to become good enough. Roman L. Moore III was born and raised in Somerville, Texas into a family of four which includes one sister. After graduating from Texas A&M, he went on to obtain several graduate degrees and enter into a career in politics and state government leadership which included serving as Senior Advisor to the Illinois Governor as well as Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of state agencies. Roman's 20-year career in politics allowed him to live and work in several states across the country. After his return to Texas, Roman entered the field of Project Management managing construction, mechanical and maintenance projects through his company's contract with the Texas A&M University System. Understanding the need and value of ownership in property, Roman decided to commit his life's work to bringing that pride and value to the everyday Texan. In an effort to give back to his community, Roman launched the Matthew Gains Generational Wealth Initiative with the goal of establishing generational wealth among the state's underrepresented populations through the ownership of 2 to 3 acres of land. Matthew Gaines was a freed slave turned Texas State Republican Senator representing Washington County during Reconstruction. Senator Gaines is credited with playing a key role in the establishment of Texas A&M University. Roman hopes to honor his great grandfather's legacy by continuing his effort to shape the landscape of Texas for the benefit of every resident. Cathy Cole’s clients benefit from over two decades of her experience buying and selling private residences and some of the region’s most spectacular farms and ranches. During that time, she has amassed a record of success that includes 16 Top Producer titles, and the South Central Texas Board of REALTORS® recognized Cathy as their first two-time “REALTOR® of the Year 1997 & 2005.” This year she was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Realtor and Heritage Texas Country Properties was awarded the same award for Best Real Estate Company. After living in Southern California, London, Italy, Africa, the Middle East and Houston, Cathy settled with her family in Brenham over thirty years ago. She understands the needs of clients who want to purchase a property on the other side of the Brazos River and those who are relocating to the other side of an ocean. Energetic and enterprising, Cathy provides personalized service for buyers and sellers and finds the right property for each client. Her job is only complete when the buyer or seller is satisfied. Her dedication to the “country life” and work for clients buying and selling amazing rural properties earned her the honor of serving as Secretary of the Texas REALTORS® Land Institute, the most trusted, accomplished and highest performing land experts across the state. Cathy serves on the Realtors Land Institute’s Government Affairs Committee for the National Association of Realtors. She is also a founding member of the Texas Land Brokers Network, an organization dedicated to networking and education of land professionals. Cathy has also been on the Political Involvement Committees Board for the Texas Association of Realtors. Cathy says the best advice she ever received was to “be honest and love my work.”

Cathy’s own colleagues recognize and respect her dedication to both her personal and professional integrity, which was why she was asked to serve on the Texas Association of REALTORS®’ Professional Standards Committee. A dedicated mother and grandmother, Cathy believes that strong communities begin at home. Cathy has also volunteered countless hours to charities to help ensure that Washington County and surrounding areas are better places to live and work. “Come Home to your heritage” is Cathy’s belief and extends to her clients.

Shelly Moschak, a native Houstonian, escaped the traffic and city life and moved to the more relaxed lifestyle of the Brenham countryside in 2003. She has enjoyed her real estate career ever since, and enjoyed being the Broker/Owner of 5 Star Country Properties for 10 years. In 2017 she partnered with Legend Texas Properties, where she enjoys the collaboration of other talented professionals who share her business practices and integrity.

Shelly's down-to-earth, positive attitude and tremendous sense of humor are reasons she builds strong relationships with her clients. She focuses first on really getting to know her clients, discovering their needs and desires, then resolves to find a solution fitting for each person.

Shelly had experienced "Corporate America" and "glass ceilings", so she made the transition into real estate for a simple reason: "I wanted to build a career around my life, not a life around my career."
